This chippy vintage SAVON DE MARSEILLE sign (french for MARSEILLE SOAP) is wonderful! World famous for its extraordinary purity and gentle skin care, SAVON DE MARSEILLE is a traditional of french milled soaps made from olive oil (altho vegetable oil is now sometimes included) that has been made in and around Marseille, France, for about 700 years. This sign is a real eye-catcher and would look amazing in any French Country, Paris Apartment, Shabby or Cottage decor where you are wanting a touch of warmth and true vintage charm. It measures approx 13.5 x 16.5" overall, is handmade and heavily distressed for an authentic time honoured vintage look!   Handpainted in Cream with lettering in Coal Black, this sign comes to you ready to hang.
