This chippy vintage CHANTILLY sign is exquisite and far more than just a pretty face...the history!! 
Not to be just another beautiful historic city in France, CHANTILLY, France has also given it's name to the famous handmade bobbin lace 'CHANTILLY', it's manufacture organized by the Duchesse de Longue in the 17th century in Chantilly, France.  And if that's not enough history for you, Chantilly, France also gave it's name to the famous creme 'CHANTILLY', a sweet vanilla flavoured whipped cream used in world famous French pastries., created by the maitre d' of Chateau de Chantilly in the 17th century for the king of France! This Vintage inspired sign measures approx 10 x 17.5 inches overall and is handmade, handpainted and heavily distressed for that worn shabby vintage appeal.  Painted in Vintage Pink, the lettering has been handpainted in Coal to fit beautifully into your French Country/Paris Apt/Shabby Cottage Chic surroundings and is quite versatile for virtually any room in the house when you consider it's many meanings! This sign comes to you ready to hang!
